Welcome to Andrew Staples Pipes.
My name is Andrew Staples. The pipes I create are beautiful high quality smoking instruments. My hope is that they reflect beauty in both aesthetic and function, bringing an individual back to them again and again.
My pipes are carved from high quality briar (white heath) obtained from the Mediterranean. My wood comes from very few cutters for the sake of consistency and quality, even then some blocks are culled from use. My stems are hand cut from ebonite or cumberland rod because of their soft feel on the teeth and their pleasing appearance. The few materials I use for adornments are consistently high quality and not very great in number: pre-ban ivory, horn, a few exotic woods, and bamboo.

Establishing and maintaining relationships is one of the most important aspects of pipe making. It is hard to express the satisfaction felt, knowing you provided someone with a pipe that they treasure and enjoy.
If you are looking to fulfill a need for a pipe quickly, I try to keep a few pipes at the top of the Available Pipes page that have a price listed below them. All other pipes will need to be created per a customer's request.
